Living in the city limits means that you need to obtain a permit to have your yard sale. Permits are completed at City Hall and will need information including address of sale, your name, home address, phone number and date(s) of sale.
The good news? Permits are FREE!!
City Ordinance no. 2090 states that you can have only one (1) yard sale per calendar quarter. You are allowed two (2) consecutive days per quarter. Any violations to shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100.00, not more than $500.00
Permits can be obtained any time, up until the day of your sale. Stop by City Hall and see Kensey at the front desk to get your permit!
