Members of the Glasgow Fire Department undergo rigorous and continual training to ensure that they can do their very best in serving our community.
The Glasgow Fire Department maintains an Area Training Center on Beaver Trail here in Glasgow.
Below are some photos of an extraction training exercise and demonstration done by the Glasgow Fire Department. In such an exercise, the firefighters gain experience in how to get to and remove victims from a vehicle when normal door and window access is not viable, such as when doors are bent shut or victims are trapped in the vehicle by the wreckage.
